Mare de Déu del Carme patron saint festivities in Port d’Andratx 2023

Once again this year the patron saint’s fiestas Mare de Déu del Carme in Port d’Andratx, in honour of the Virgen del Carmen, have arrived. These are very special dates for all the residents of the municipality where tradition and neighbourhood unity go hand in hand. Numerous activities make up the programme for the Port d’Andratx 2023 festivities. Organisations such as the Fishermen’s Guild, which organises the maritime procession in honour of the Virgen del Carmen, its patron saint and the patron saint of all the people of Port d’Andratx, take part in it.

Full programme of the Andratx 2023 fiestas

The programme of the Andratx 2023 fiestas includes numerous activities until Sunday 16th July. From the truc tournament to regattas in collaboration with the Club de Vela Port d’Andratx. There are also film screenings, many activities especially designed for families and children. The big days of these patron saint festivities will be Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, the XII Nit del Cavall (12th Night of the Horse) on the harbour front and, at midnight, a verbena in the fish market area.

On Sunday, it is the turn of the seafaring procession, at 21:00, in the Moll de les barques de bou. Afterwards, at 22:30, there will be a musical performance by the Galatzó orchestra in the port’s fish market.
