Ten delicious desserts at Can Pep
For many diners, dessert is one of the most anticipated culinary moments. It is the finishing touch to a good banquet with irresistible shapes and colors. There are those who decide to skip it to keep healthy, but dessert is not synonymous with avoiding the diet. At Can Pep we elaborate our dessert menu in detail, with options for all tastes, even for those palates that take care of every calorie they eat. Without leaving aside some of the most typical elaborations of the local gastronomy. Who can resist to any of these Can Pep desserts?
Chocolate cake. An unmistakable flavor that cannot be missing from the menu of any restaurant. Simply… no words are needed!
Greixonera. Typical Ibizan dessert that is made with ensaimadas from the day before, sugar, eggs, milk, cinnamon and lemon zest. Besides being delicious, it represents part of the local gastronomy of the Balearic Islands.
French apple tart. A dessert that blends the best of fruit with the art of baking. With a thin puff pastry covered with apple slices and the final touch of powdered sugar.
Strawberries and cream or ice cream. Again, another dessert in which fruit is the main protagonist. A classic among the classics, perfect for any time of the day.
Strawberry flambé with green pepper. In this dessert the strawberries are flambéed to acquire that characteristic liqueur flavor that many of our guests at Can Pep love.
Ice cream sundae. Among the Can Pep desserts is one of the most requested in summer, although in winter it also has its followers. The tricky thing here is choosing between the different flavors that we include in the menu. To the taste of the consumer…
Typical Majorcan sponge cake with almonds. The typical Majorcan “almond gató” is as simple in its ingredients as it is tasty. Made with eggs, sugar, ground almonds and lemon zest. It could not be missing from the Can Pep dessert menu.
Tropical sorbet. Refreshing and light, a clear example that a dessert can also be healthy.
Cava lemon sorbet with strawberries. Another of our sorbets that those who try it love. The touch of cava and the strawberry accompaniment are reminiscent of that scene with Julia Roberts in the bathtub in “Pretty Woman”.
Ximénez Spínola sweet wine. Finally, a dessert that is served by the glass, and in many places it is chosen to end a good lunch or dinner with a glass of sweet wine. What better way to do it than with a Pedro Ximénez Denomination of Origin broth available in our wine selection.
And for those who can’t decide…
If you don’t opt for one of the ten desserts on our menu, why not try several of them? This is possible if you order the assorted dessert tray, recommended to taste some of the aforementioned desserts for 2 people.
