The Nit de l’Art 2021 lands in Andratx at the CCA

The Nit de l’Art 2021 lands in the municipality of Andratx hosted by CCA Andratx. The andritxol exhibition center presents on September 17 the exhibition “Insights”, which includes artistic works from the collection of the National-Bank of Germany. Artists such as Joseph Beuys, Stephan Balkenhol, Tony Cragg, Pia Fries, Katharina Grosse, Markus Lüpertz and many others related to the renowned Düsseldorf Art Academy will be present at this edition of the Nit de l’Art in Andratx.

The “Insights” exhibition at CCA Andratx is the second stop after its inauguration at the MKM Museum Küppersmühle in Duisburg (Germany). The sample has about 90 works from the National-Bank collection. An essential cultural plan in the municipality of Andratx that can be enjoyed from September 17 to November 27, 2021. Perfect to visit before or after a good banquet with the best company at the Can Pep restaurant and its terrace with the best views of the Port d’Andratx.

Jackie Herbst, CCA Andratx coordinator, anticipates that the public will be able to attend for free during the first weekend of this exhibition. “Friday hours will be from 11am to 8pm and on Saturday it will be open all morning until 5pm.” Herbst also advances that dialogue visits will be organized, “for which you have to sign up for reasons of capacity. They are visits accompanied by the commissioners in a more relaxed and relaxed way. Last year they were very successful and people really enjoyed this format”.

Düsseldorf Academy of Art

Over the past decades, the National-Bank has built an exceptional collection of which is now presented. A selection of key artistic positions at CCA Andratx. The main focus of the collection is dedicated to the artists from the well-known Düsseldorf Academy of Art, many of which have gone on to achieve world fame. When submitting a wide sample of the collection, “Insights” highlights both the diversity and the broad spectrum of artists presented and their artistic practice.

Over the years, the Bank has established itself as one of the leading art patrons in Germany and for 15 years generously supports the Küppersmühle Museum. Continuing to promote the arts, the National-Bank presents now the “Insights” exhibition at the CCA within the Nit de l’Art 2021 event in Andratx, as well as in various galleries in Palma and Pollença. The exhibition is organized by the Stiftung für Kunst und Kultur (Foundation for Art and Culture) in Bonn, Germany, in collaboration with CCA Andratx and with the support of Art Palma Contemporani.
